Privacy Policy

We operate an AI-assisted platform that provides legal information and connects members of the public with independent Hong Kong law firms. This policy explains how we collect, use and protect personal data in accordance with the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Cap. 486) ("PDPO"), including this Personal Information Collection Statement (PICS).

Account data: name, email, phone number, preferred language.

Case data: the description of your legal matter that you provide by text or voice, documents you upload, and messages you exchange through the platform.

Technical data: essential local storage for your login session, language choice and this notice. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

To operate the platform: AI intake of your matter, matching with suitable firms, messaging, consultations and document generation; to verify firms against the Law Society register; and to send service notifications (in-app, email, and — only if you opt in — WhatsApp).

When AI features are enabled, the text you provide may be processed by third-party AI providers solely to provide the feature. Case summaries shown to firms before you connect are anonymised. AI output is legal information, not legal advice.

Your identity and full case details are disclosed to a firm only when it unlocks your case or you connect with it. We do not sell personal data. Service providers (payment, email, messaging) receive only what is necessary, when those integrations are enabled.

We retain personal data no longer than necessary for the purposes above or as required by law, after which it is deleted or anonymised.

Under the PDPO you may request access to and correction of your personal data via the contact details on this site. You may also opt out of non-essential communications at any time in Settings.

We use encryption in transit, role-based access controls and audit logging. No system is perfectly secure — contact us immediately if you suspect any unauthorised access.
