Terms of Service
1. What we are (and are not)
This is a technology platform. We provide general legal information, AI-assisted tools and introductions to independent Hong Kong law firms. We are not a law firm, we do not practise law, and nothing on the platform — including AI output — constitutes legal advice or creates a lawyer-client relationship with us.
Any engagement you enter into is exclusively between you and the law firm you choose. The firm is solely responsible for the legal services it provides.
2. Accounts
You must provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure. Firm accounts are activated only after verification against the Law Society of Hong Kong register. We may suspend accounts that break these terms or the law.
3. Reporting a case
When you report a case, an anonymised summary is shown to verified professionals; your identity and full details are revealed only when a professional unlocks your case or you connect with them.
4. Fees
Legal fees are agreed between you and the firm and are billed by the firm directly — the platform does not hold client money.
Platform charges to members (subscriptions, lead credits) are marketing and software fees for access to the platform; they are not a share of any legal fee.
5. AI features and generated documents
AI intake, answers and generated documents are first-draft information tools. They may contain errors and must be reviewed by a qualified lawyer before you rely on them. Voice transcription may be imperfect — always check the transcript shown to you.
6. Acceptable use
No unlawful, misleading or abusive content; no attempts to circumvent the platform (e.g. soliciting off-platform contact to avoid the rules); no scraping or reverse engineering.
7. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the platform is provided "as is"; we are not liable for the acts or omissions of law firms or for decisions made in reliance on legal information provided on the platform.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, and the courts of Hong Kong have exclusive jurisdiction.
