What your application needs

  • Identity：Your name exactly as it appears on your Hong Kong ID card, and a photo of that card (used only to verify your identity, then deleted once your application is reviewed).
  • Contact：A WhatsApp number or an email address, so we can send you a verification code.
  • Proof of firm：The name of the firm you work for, and an upload of a firm business card or letterhead showing your name.

Optional details and verification

  • Authorised clerk number (e.g. AC-1234) and your main practice district. We verify your standing against the Law Society of Hong Kong’s authorised clerks list, and your account is activated once that check passes.

Membership Application Declaration (Legal Assistant)
  1. Eligibility: I confirm that I meet the membership application requirements listed on this platform.
  2. Documents: I will upload the required supporting documents in accordance with the application requirements.
  3. Truthfulness and legal responsibility: I declare that all personal information provided in this form is, to the best of my knowledge and belief, true, accurate and complete. I understand that making any false statement may constitute a criminal offence under Hong Kong law, and I agree that the platform may refuse or revoke my membership if information is found to be deliberately false or misleading.
  4. Fees: I acknowledge and agree that any fees and/or membership dues paid are non-refundable in all circumstances (including but not limited to ineligibility, inaccurate information, or my own withdrawal of the application).
